Our colleague Vladimir Zeitlin has left us in the spring of 2024.
In tribute to his memory, the Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique is organizing a Symposium in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris.
Contributions from all topics in GFD are welcome. It is intended as an opportunity to bring together the GFD community, to which Vladimir has contributed so much, and share stimulating results and discussions which Vladimir would have enjoyed.
Link to program below (in the section 'Venue'); it includes the link for remote attendance.
Registration is free but compulsory, and will be open until March 31. After this date, we kindly invite you to contact us and may allow late registrations depending on available places.
Abstract submission is possible at the registration step. Please select the corresponding fields and provide a title and a short abstract (500 words max). We anticipate 30 minutes slots for presentations + questions. However, depending on the number of contribution, we may consider having a poster session alongside oral presentations.
